Alamüdün Waterfall: A Captivating Natural Wonder in Chüy Region

Located in the Alamudun district of Chüy Region, the waterfall emanates from the eastern slope of the Alamedin gorge. Positioned merely 800 meters from the Atjailoo River's mouth, and 3.2 kilometers from its source, the waterfall stands as a testament to the marvels of nature.

During summer, the gorge adorns itself in vibrant greenery, harmonizing with the wildlife to create an unforgettable communion with the untamed wilderness. Be prepared for a 2 to 2.5-hour hike one way, including three crossings of the Alamedin River. During early summer, shallow waters facilitate easy stone crossings. However, caution is advised during the rainy season when water levels surge. Rope assistance might be necessary for secure crossings.
