Ak-Sai Waterfall: Hiking in the Ala-Archa National Park

The Ak-Sai waterfall is a prominent gem within the renowned Ala-Archa National Park, captivating visitors with its enchanting allure. Situated merely 42 km from Bishkek, this waterfall unveils its splendor within the extraordinary beauty of Ala-Archa gorge, nestled in the namesake national park.

Easily visible from the trail leading from Ratsek cabin base camp, it serves as a starting point for climbers venturing to Kyrgyz Ala-Too's highest points, such as the Crown (4860 m), Free Korea peak (4740 m), Bilan-Bashi (4700 m), and the towering Semenova-Tyan-Shan (4875 m). The allure of the glacier ridge, including Ak-sai, Golubina, Top-Karagai, Tuyuk, and Adygene of Ala-Archa, beckons with about 50 glaciers.
