Visits: 11550
The amazing Canyon landscapes of Konorchok Canyon remind the Great Canyon, but at the same time they carry a significant particle of the unique nature of Kyrgyzstan. This fabulous place is 125 km from the capital, in the boom gorge. You can go to the canyons only through the maze of rocks on the River's dry River. Rocky columns of red sandstone stretch for many kilometers. Here time seems to stop, and the traveler gets caught by these picturesque landscapes, which is impossible to admire. The special attraction of canyons is a swollen volcano, whose age is estimated at 2.5-3 million years. The climate in canyons Konorchok is quite unusual and peculiar: in summer it is very hot and dry, cold in winter, but almost without precipitation.
